Host Berlin is looking forward to receive Europe’s elite

With ttc berlin eastside, an experienced organiser is dedicating itself to the exclusive meeting of talents. President Alexander Teichmann is looking forward to the tournament: “Through women’s table tennis at the highest level in the Bundesliga and Champions League, but also through the organisation of international matches and the German Championships 2018, we are very familiar with the organisation of top events in Berlin. We are looking forward to hosting Europe’s youth elite in October and we are well prepared in every respect, also with regard to the conditions caused by the Covid 19 pandemic”.

Senator Andreas Geisel is patron

Just recently, two prominent examples proved how German politicians value table tennis. German Chancellor Angela Merkel supports the DTTB in the German bid video for the 2023 World Championships. And Berlin’s Senator for the Interior and Sport, Andreas Geisel, has taken on the patronage of meetings of the continental junior elite. Geisel says: “In the year of the Corona pandemic with the resulting restrictions, especially with regard to events, the Europe Youth Top 10 is a particularly welcome sporting highlight for Berlin’s sports enthusiasts and all table tennis fans. Berlin is therefore once again recommended as a venue for outstanding table tennis tournaments of international standing. I would like to thank the organisers of ttc eastside berlin, who are not only sportive succcesful but also have a high reputation as a proven organiser in the sports metropolis. Special recognition is due to the volunteers who are realising this tournament under these extraordinary circumstances with great commitment.”
